This is a community based, non profit event.\n\nWe did rent a charming private house in the forest with large grounds. The house includes a large living room and a dining room and a separated workshop room.\n\nThere are warm showers, a separate kitchen and 22 bedrooms. Some bedrooms will be used as a love temple, meditation room or workshop room. You will sleep in a bedroom with around six people. The house is ecological maintained.\n\nIn total we do expect around 40 faeries to join. It will be possibel to arrive a day later and/or leave a day earlier.\n\n* Arrival starts from Sat, December 27, 2025 from 12 p.m.\n \n* Departure Saterday, January 3, 2026, before 10 p.m.\n \n\n### Who is it for?\n\nThis gathering is for queer people of all genders and orientations.(18+) This means the event is open for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, non-binary people and other queer people. The Radical Faeries are a worldwide queer community. No prior experience within the faerie community is necessary. Many participants will be attending alone or for the first time.\n\nThe main language at the gathering will be English, although a translation into Dutch or French at the gathering will likely be possible.\n\nEveryone will give you a different answer of what the faeries are, but if you like to have some general information about the Radical Faeries click [here.](https://albionfaeries.org.uk/who-are-the-radical-faeries/) More information aubout [the Eurofaeries.](https://eurofaeries.eu/)\n\n### Where is it located?\n\nThe event is located in Drouwen, near to the village Borger, in the east of the Netherlands. The address information will be provided after registration and can be found at the [website of the house](https://www.kwartjesberg.nl/) (Please do not contact the house by yourself). We will also try to arrange car sharing.\n\n### What is the contribution?\n\nThis is a community-based, non-profit event. The contribution is for the whole gathering, food and lodging. Recommended a minimum of €250 to cover the costs. It will possibly to contribute based on your income as follows:\n\n* €200 - €250 minimum income\n \n* €250- €300 regular income\n \n* €300 or more, above regular income\n \n NB ! Extra donations are very welcome to make the gathering accessible for everyone.\n \n\nNOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) policy: please let us know if you are on a budget and cannot afford the minimum rate.\n\n### When to pay?\n\nAfter you registration we will ask you to pay a deposit of €100 as a confirmation. You will get this money back by cancellation till two weeks before the start and in case of an emergy. If the deposit of €100 is not possible for you we will make an other arrangement with you.\n\nYou can pay the other part of your contribution by bank transfer or with cash at arrival.\n\n### How to get to the Gathering?\n\n#### By Car:\n\nThe house is approximately a 2 hour drive from Amsterdam and a 2,5 hour drive from airport Schiphol.\n\n#### By public transport:\n\nSee also [9292 information](https://9292.nl/en/) and Google maps\n\nThe closest train station is Assen from there you can take a bus to Busstop Borgerweg 23, Gasselte (600 meter from the house). You can walk from there or ask for a pickup by car. In the evening the pickups can be bus station P+R Gieten if the second bus is not driving. This will all be arranged closer tot the gathering.\n\nNB You do not have to make a reservation for intercity trains within the Netherlands and you can buy a ticket at the train stations.\n\n#### By Bus or BlaBlaCar:\n\nYou can also consider [Flixbus](https://www.flixbus.nl/) or [BlaBlaCar](https://www.blablacar.nl/).\n\nNearest Flixbus: Groningen city and Amsterdam. There is a direct flixbus from Berlin to Groningen. Form Copenhagen you can take a flixbus to Hamburg and from there to Groningen. From Groningen it is 45 minutes to the place by public transport.
